Why don't you offer a "Shop Online, we deliver" delivery slot to my postcode on every day of the week
In order to offer the Shop Online, we deliver service to as many of our customers as possible some shops have to allocate certain postcode areas to specific days and time slots. This will be seen when some slots are greyed out on the Select Your Delivery Slot page. If deliveries are not available at a specific time you might like to choose either Shop Online, you collect or Shop in Branch, we deliver (where available).

How do I choose a delivery time
You will need to be a registered customer. If you are new to type your postcode in the Start grocery shopping now box on the left of the homepage. If you are already registered and signed in select Book a slot at the top of the page.

Can I reserve a delivery slot
You can reserve your slot before you start your online shop, however, you must checkout within 2 hours in order to keep the slot. 

Slot booking or checkout system issue
These can often be resolved by clearing your cookies and instruction can be found HERE

Will my slot still be there if I return to the site but don’t log in
If you've booked a slot but not checked out, this will only be held for 2 hours. After 2 hours, the slot will be released but the contents of your trolley will remain.

Why am I shown a choice of branches for my delivery
You may have a choice of shops that deliver to your postcode for the following reasons: We are opening a new branch that will deliver to your postcode, We are refurbishing a branch, during the refurbishment period the slot you want may not be available, so you can select a slot from a different branch or If we are closing a branch that delivered to your postcode, then we may offer you the choice to select a different branch.

Where is my delivery or Late deliveries 
Our drivers will attempt to contact you in the event that the delivery is delayed. Please note that this call will be from a withheld number. If your delivery hasn't arrived within your booked slot and you haven't heard from us, please contact our Customer Care Team on 0800188884 who will be happy to assist. 

Text message delivery notification 
You can opt-in to receive text messages. Under 'My Account' on you can request delivery updates to your personal phone.  We will send you a message when the driver is about 15 minutes from making your delivery.

Waitrose deliver orders in adverse weather conditions
If there is going to be a delay or an issue with your delivery due to adverse weather conditions, we will contact you to advise. Should you wish to speak to someone sooner or have any other questions regarding the status of your delivery please call our Customer Care Team on 0800 188 884 who will be happy to assist.
